Father Ted Night Kilbride 09 |
The Father Ted themed extravagansa run by 14th Meath Ventures last Month was a great success. With groups travelling from all over Meath to discover Kilbride with a new twist, a craggy island twist.
The night kicked off with an introduction into Kilbride, showcasing the talents, people and places which have set Kilbride apart from the rest of Meath for years. Dunboyne Ventures then entertained the collars off the group with their hilalrious sketches which they had down to a "tea".
The Father Ted themed quiz was then brought to the tables with some teams questioning the actual questions themselves rather than answering them. At the end no one was still sure what car Father Ted Crilly actually does drive.
Thanks to all you orgainsed the night and who helped out in anyway. A big shout out to Joe Farrelly for his great works in sourcing a lovely projector for the night. Thanks to all who supplied tea bags, cakes, milk and pyramids of bisucits.

14th Meath Ventures held a "Father Ted" themed entertainment night for Ventures across the County to celebrate the begining of 2009. The night was a great sucess and 14th Meath are looking forward to having something for Ventures again in the future but in the mean time 2009 is looking very busy for every aspect of Kilbride Scouting.
The Ventures have picked a logo for their "mat hatters" Venture group and group hoodies will go into production soon. Plans are also underway to get another summer camp of a lifetime orgainised for the summer ahead. Where will the Ventures head this summer?
Congratulation to all Scouts who are begining their Chief Scout Award Challanges. Good Luck and from everyone in Kilbride Scouting. |
