Congratulations to club member Emer McEntee who got through to the Final of the Meath Junior Open Tennis Competition (U12) which was held in Stackallen on 17th July last. She was beaten by Nikki McAleese in a hard fought final.

Community Games U-13 Tennis Team

Saturday 10th July in Carlow.

Our U13 team travelled to Carlow for the Leinster Semi-Final competition on Saturday 10th July. The team had put in lots of hard practice and training on the build-up, and were all looking forward to the challenge.

Unfortunately the weather was not favourable, and the matches were played in heavy rain. They put up a fantastic effort, but were evenually beaten by 2-1 in matches, against a strong Gorey team.

We are all hugely proud of the achievements of the team, of their determination, and especially of how well they represented their community.

The team is:
