 overcame Dunboyne in this Feis Cup  final at Páirc

Tailteann on Wednesday night.

Ratoath proved too strong for O'Mahonys in this final

at Dunganny on Saturday.

They dominated the opening half  and chalked up a lead

of 1-11 to Nil by halftime.

They added two further points before Evan Murtagh

had O'Mahonys first score, a point  five minutes into

Goals at either  side of half time tipped the balance

in favour of Ratoath in  this under 13 F.L quarter

final replay at wind swept Dunganny on Sunday

morning.

Ratoath with the aid of a strong breeze were a point

ahead going into the second quarter when they flashed

in their first goal.  Some five minutes later a crucial break came

when their number 11 was left unmarked and  he had no difficulty

 blazing the ball to the net  to leave it 2-4 to 0-3 at the break.

the Oliver Matthews Cup were played out

on Monday night.

In the first game “Tyrone” proved too strong

for “Kerry” despite the efforts of Andrew Leech,

A point on the call of fulltime gave O'Mahonys

victory in this keenly contested under twentyone tie

at a bitterly cold Dunganny on Tuesday night.

It was all square at the 53rd minute but Dunboyne

went ahead with a point three minutes later

 and playing with the aid of a strong breeze it looked

 like being their  winning point . O'Mahonys failed to

give  up and showing great spirit they notched two points

in the closing minutes to take victory.

after eight minutes and despite O’Mahonys gaining much of

the possession they had little to show for it on the scoreboard

due to poor finishing,until James O’Reilly slotted home a goal

in the 22^nd minute to go a point in front.

Despite the lead changing hands many times over the hour,

O'Mahonys held on to win this closely contested Ladies Footbal

Div 3 league game. O'Mahonys played the first half with the

strong wind and got off to a good start, being 1-1 to 0-1 to the

good after 10 minutes. However the wind proceeded to die

down and the sides were very evenly matched, exchanging

scores for much of the game. With the scores level at half time,

it was all to play for in the second half, which was just as

closely fought as the first

Despite the recent unfavourable weather conditions, an enjoyable day was

had by all at the Annual Navan O'Mahonys Golf Classic held at Royal Tara

on Friday last, June 11th.

There was little between these sides in the opening half of this 

first round under 14 FL game at Dunshaughlin on Saturday

afternoon.    St Martins  held the advantage at the break by

1-3 to 1-2 and  shortly after the resumption they added two further

points to go a goal ahead.

O'Mahonys on Saturday afternoon after an  entertaining game.

A first half goal by Kildalkey's Tommy Masterson proved to be

A goal from a penalty in the 59h minute of this very entertaining

final at Páirc Tailteann on Saturday proved the undoing of

O'Mahonys and  crucial for Towers  as it spurred  them on to

a two point victory.
