"Stackallen Old School 1840"
The book grew out of a project that the school children began in 1999 based on an important building in their locality. They were given a questionaire to give to their parents, grandparents etc who had memories of Stackallen N.S. and in so doing learned much about its history and their own heritage. They also gathered old photographs, stories etc which together with information collected by Michael Leahy who taught in Stackallen formed the basis of a book on the old school.
